Richard is a native of Covington, Louisiana. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Justice Administration from Hawai‘i Pacific University, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During his last year of law school, Richard worked as an intern in the District Attorney’s Office in Tupelo, MS where he assisted in the prosecution of criminal defendants.
Since being admitted to practice law in Mississippi, Richard has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving asbestos claims, automobile accidents, breach of contract, the Mississippi Tort Claims Act, nursing home neglect, personal injury, premises liability and products liability.
Richard is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
