Prior to becoming a Partner with Deakle-Johnson Law Firm, Russell worked as an Associate for Pendley, Baudin, & Coffin L.L.P. in Plaquemine, LA. Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in the general, appellate, and Supreme Courts of both Mississippi and Louisiana.

While pursuing a law degree at Tulane University Law School, Mr. Johnson worked as a student practitioner in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. In 2017, Mr. Johnson worked as a Pro Bono intern for Judge Fredericka Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Johnson was awarded his Juris Doctor degree with a Certificate in Environmental Law in the Spring of 2017.

Mr. Johnson’s legal experience spans a variety of fields including Mass Torts, Chemical Spills, Personal injury, Automobile Accidents, Class Action, Asbestos Trusts, Insurance law, and Wills.

When he is not in the office, Mr. Johnson enjoys spending leisure time with his fiancé, their two dogs, and his family.
